Well my biggest question is what happens if you loose your phone or leave it someplace or what happens when it breaks just some thoughts to bring to the table. I don't know what state you live in but Onstar for me costs 199 a year which isn't too bad considering you get the ability to have someone call for help if you become unable to call for help. Oh and my wife has cancer so it's nice to know someone is watching out for her when I can't but hay that's just me

I just can't see myself carrying 2 fobs. If it could replace the oem fob, I would get this.
That is exactly what it does.

I want no fob at all, when that happens I'll do it right away.

What happens when you lose your keys? Just need a redundant backup like with any key/fob solution.

it in essence would no?

I guess I was wrong, at first glance I thought someone would have to use the oem fob and this new fob.

Only thing now is having the stock oem ignition hole, I am guessing there is a plastic cover one could buy to make it look some what oem.

After some research, it looks like they have vehicle specific models that come with a cover for the ignition
hole.

I did notice the remote only has one trunk open button, I wonder how that button works to open either the rear glass or only the rear door. I have the auto open rear, if it works with both I think I am sold.
