Hi,


Dear friends I have the 98 2dr tahoe and I don't have the keyless remotes and I want to have this feature.

Please tell me how can I check if I have the controller or not and how to add it if not

1SB OR 1SC your rpo code list. keyless was optional in the ls trim and included it the lt trim.

I should send you my vin number :thumbup:

By the way I just did a test (connecting the #4 with #8 on the OBDII blug and it worked :) :beer:

The lock unlock sound it came up, does that mean that all what I need now is the oem keyless remote?

Note: I have an after market keyless sys temporary but it is BAD the interior light stays ON! for some time thats why I wanted the OEM thing



(Side note) By the way I did the DRL disabling thing from the small board and it worked I will try to see if the local models wich comes without DRL have different board.

And I did the LED interior (white color) not 100% done but so far it looks coold and modern if I may say

there is an interior light module from factory that keeps light on for a little bit if you close the doors with the key out. and yes. remote number gm 16245105 for your vehicle.

there is an interior light module from factory that keeps light on for a little bit if you close the doors with the key out. and yes. remote number gm 16245105 for your vehicle.

I asked my friend to bring me a number of parts but I found out he brought this to me do you think it is OK?

Give it a try.

Connect #4 and #8 pins again. After the locks cycle then hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the remote and wait for the locks to cycle on the car. Once they do it has be programmed.

It is working, but I need to know what are the features?

For example when I programed the new remote I noticed the horn beeb can I chose the horn to beeb when I lock the doors by the remote?
