FYI, the numbers after HC will help you decide which ones to get, your total wattage is 4400, so I'd go with (2) HC2400.

I am currently running (2) Yellow tops in the front and (3) HC2400 in the rear.

Exactly what blueflamed03 stated "forget caps" at those wattages, it'll drain on your first bass note. LOL

Something to keep in mind, The Kinetik are not very good Cold Cranking Amps, so swapped out my HC1800s in the front for some Yellow Tops (even though I should've went for the Red Tops for CCA)

Think of Kinetik as a frickin monster cap, it drains fast and recharges quickly.

The only reason why I swapped out my HC 1800 for a Yellow Top (I recommend a Red Top in the front) was because I have a two way paging alarm and my Denali is not my daily driver, so it sits for weeks and I've noticed that when I had my HC1800 in the front, my Batteries would die or drain within that period.

I've installed many two way paging alarms and that seems to be the only common factor that I can pin point why it drains so fast.

If you run your truck daily or atleast often, then I don't think that you'll run into any problems, I just wanted to give you some advice that I have.

Hope this helps and doesn't confuse you more? LOL

No matter what, dump the cap!

i'll invest in one sooner then later just want my system and trucc up n running first i'll take the advice but since i run my trucc daily i think i might use the HC2400 up front as a main period that should hold its owm but what about winter and cold cranking would that be a problem?

Or if you have a healthy battery in the front already, leave it there and run the hC2400 in the rear BUT if you have to swap out the front one, you could always put the HC2400 in the front (not sure it'll fit though) and later buy a Red Top if the Kinetik's not doing it's job for the CCA then run the Red Top in the front and Kinetik in the rear.

Besides, it's always better to have the shortest distance between your Kinetik and Amps.

i dont want to go thru the trial and error with batteries i dont have fund like that i mean my build is not that extreme i mean blue uses a HC1800 daily i live in NY we can have some pretty cold winters and dont want to have starting problems nut the HC2400 should kinda be overkill you think? well to be safe i'll run a redtop up front and a HC1400 out bac should come about even without breaking my bank..if i keep going with the thought of i get it as needed i will always keep needing sumtin and spend head over heels on it. so i'll just get the best and call it a day
