I have a CEL knock sensor that refuses to go away.
1. Six months ago, P0332 showed up, I changed both knock senssors bought from Oreilly's. Problem stayed away for 5 months.
2. It came back after 5 months, I changed both sensors again with sensors bought from Rock Auto.
3, The same CEL code came back in 2 weeks. THis time I did further troubleshooting and found that one sensor was putting out a much lower signal than the other one. I bought GM sernsors from Ebay this time. The two sensors came, one was bad (low) right out of the package. So I reused the good one, and swapped out the bad one.
4. THat was two weeks ago, it came back again.
Questions: 1) Is there a bad batch of knock sensors in the market place? 2) can it be a ECU unit?
