07 & 08 Denali (6.2L) have a gas door sticker for 91 recommended. GM detuned them until 09 to differentiate (sell) them from the Escalade.

89 is alright for highway cruises. I always ran 91 (CA) because I had a buddy who cracked a piston running 89 in his RX300 on mountain roads.

Cats can clog from a hard hit of road debris breaking the ceramic honeycomb up or bad tune from intake, exhaust leak, etc left unchecked.

So ive been running premium 93 in my 2007 denali for nothing? I thought these were required to run 93? If this is true, this is why my catalytic converter is clogged now

@shanerussell any luck on finding a new 6.2L yet? The L96 6.0L from the trucks and Burb 2500 is a drop in option too.

If your catalytic converters plugged, it's usually due to contamination from oil, fuel or coolant. You'll want to find the source before you spend the money on new catalytic converters.... Or they will suffer the same fate.
