Howdy,

So I bought a set of factory 20's and mine had 17's originally. There is a noticeable lack of power with these on vs. the 17's. Is it a computer flash issue? Meaning the computer isn't compensating for the 20's?

Thank you!

Okay, glad it's not just me. I only run the OEM 20's during summer and put my OEM 17's with all terrain tires in winter.

Thanks,

it isnt the rim size that afffects the performance its the diameter of the tire
ill use mine for example i have 285/50r20 wich is a diameter of 31.22"
the stock rims and tires for my 2002 tahoe were 265/70-17 wich is a diameter
31.61" so you see even though its a 20 inch rim the same amount of rubber is hitting the road they have the same rolling resistance.

When I had my 08 tahoe I went from factory 20 to KMC Slide 24's and I hated the change in power, braking power, and overtall turning. Went back down to factory 22 and now both my vehicles have 22's. Cannot stand the heavy weight of the bigger wheels (24's/26's+).
