I said you backed someone that did call names. Did you read what I said? I didn't say you called a name but you backed psfr311 and didn't say that you didn't mean the name part so it is a given. If someone calls someone a name and you respond then you had better be more detailed.

My point being, there are several here that apparently elect themselves to a God status and find it beneath them to give a helpful response instead of a smart ass jab. In my humble opinion, that defeats the purpose of a forum dedicated to working on vehicles. There was a time when every one here didn't know a thing about these trucks but we all learned by searching, reading, and asking questions. If you don't want to take the time to give help, damn sure don't beat someone down.

Now obviously I don't mean we should break out neck trying to help someone who just says their gas gauge is on E and their car won't start. But having a more helpful and friendly nature would do this section a lot of good. That also means not calling people *******.

Exactly but the name calling takes it to a whole other level. People on here can be having a bad day, see how far they can push, just trying to be a smart ass-the typed word is never as forgiving as a look in the eyes. If you don't get the answer you are looking for then wait a bit and someone will likely tell someone like me or doug or any of us to shut up and then they chime in. Sometimes people get on here to ask questions when we all know that if a "search" was done first they would find the answer or they never try to research on google or you tube and what we see a lot of is people that don't join in here till they have a problem and then their patience is lacking. Either way, just like in real life, you will see it all on here and whoever is on here needs to have thicker skin. Calling someone an a**hole never gets the job done. Kapeeeesh?
