Any one else have a problem with slippery seats in thier hoe or yukon? I find myself slidding down and having to push my feet on the floor board to get back to my original position. I'm not sure if there is some kind of treatment i can use but just thought I would ask.

There is a leather cleaner that you can try to use, I've used the Meguires one and it seemed to work good, someone might have used some armor-all or something of the sort before!

Yeah, almost sounds like someone put some armor all on them, though, I have noticed that whatever grade of leather GM uses (this applies to just about every leather I've seen from a Malibu to a SRX, but, don't get me wrong, it varies) tends to run on the side of slick vs supple and durable. The Meguires that Chris mentions does work pretty well, I use it for quick cleanups and general purpose stuff, but you can certainly get a couple of other products that do a two stage cleaning, leaving less of of a sheen and more of a condition.

your seats aren't leather btw :) its vinyl. But anyways, try using a wet rag or maybe windex or something just to get it off the seats, then reapply a cleaner and conditioner to it.

How do you figure that?

iirc most leather is cars is vinyl. real leather doesnt hold up much at all. the vinyl last a lot longer and in alot of cases is much more comfortable. they have some great vinyl/fake leather out there.

bull. I've had 20 year old leather seats that were like new and soft as a glove.

The seating surfaces on front and middle seat are leather (if so optioned) But not the entire seat, this is true.

The problem is the poor grade of leather used. I end up using a slightly reclined seating position.

I use meguir's leather cleaner, then buff it with a dry cloth. Works for me.

it just is man. Now, if you talking higher end cars like some caddys, lexus, BMW, mercedes and shit like that, then well you have leather, but vinyl is a lot cheaper, easier to take care of, and its very liquid resistant.

I use the same thing and love it, because it's not slippery. I use the creamy white kind and not the OTC cleaner.
