Replacing My Seat Leather

Scuffed up the black controls for some paint and scothbright padded the plastic trim to get rid of that blue.

Everything went super easy EXCEPT these armrest covers OMG I give up. I emailed seatshop to see if they have any other advice or to recommend a upholster shop to let them do it. I don't understand why you don't remove the old leather but I guess they have a reason.

I could just repaint my existing ones as the only problem with them was the color but I bought new since they didn't cost that much.
