Hi Guys, how many times have you slipped your Yukon or Tahoe in reverse and only wished you could still see exactly what was behind you? I solved this problem and in a HUGE way. Right now you can get the "Roadshock LED 3" Flood Light" (you saw it correctly, they are a 3 inch cube) from Harbor Freight for $20 instead of the normal $30 cost. They currently have two different lights available. Both have 4 CREE type LED's that put out almost 1000 lumen's. They have a SPOT light and a FLOOD light model. I chose the Flood light model and mounted them under the back bumper. GMC even has a mounting bracket on each side of the bumper. A few minutes identifying the reverse light wires and splicing into them and BAM.....Daylight behind your vehicle as soon as you put the vehicle in reverse. Also the current draw on the wiring is minimal since they are LED's. As an added plus the lights are even able to be submersed for those that tow a boat.
I had tried many different high dollar replacement lamps in the backup light socket but all proved to be a disappointment. Believe me THIS WON'T. I hope to have pics on in the next day or two but don't wait the sale is even for a few days and NO I don't have stock in Harbor Freight.
