I've been throwing around the idea of changing my regular bulbs to LED's. Its gonna be for the talilghts; Reverse, stop/brake. My plan is to paint my stock tailights candy red, and I figured LED bulbs will give it a better look. Its gonna be a custom look without alot of $$ going into it. So here is my question, will the LEDs work without any problems? Plug and Play? I assume they will but if not then I'm just going to leave them alone.
Here's an example of what I want my tailights to look like. Thanks trick26. (Brandon)

I had led bulbs in my taillights and lost my cruise control. I didn't use any type of resistor or anything though, which should have fixed the problem. I had one go bad so I just switched back to regular type bulbs. I still have leds in my reverse lights though. The candy red should look good though!

Yeah thats what I'm somewhat worried about. But my original thought was to put them in my reverse lights just to see they would be.

Yeah i use them, but its not like its a necessity. I figure it would look kinda cool, maybe be a little more safer as well. We could all use a little more light out back, especially if we got super dark tint.

Well I bought LED bulbs, put them in as brake lights, work for a couple hrs. Last night got on the road and realized when I hit the brakes, they barely lit up.:emotions122: So I ended up putting the old ones back in.
