Im looking at changing my factory fogs to led. Doesn't look like I can change the bulbs to LED. Do I have to change the housing or is there a special LED bulb. 2007 chevy Tahoe LTZ.

You can get LED bulbs that fit in the factory housing- just not really what you're "supposed" to do. I have some cheap LED bulbs in mine (profile pic). Its like $25 from amazon by a company called "alla lighting". If I recall correctly, the bulb is a 5202. I got yellow ones because I like the way they look better than white but its no big deal. Theretrofitsource.com sells proper LED projector bulb/housing units which I would have gotten if they weren't like $220. I'd say if you're more worried about how well they perform- get the housings. The LED bulbs I got really don't do anything more than the bulbs they replaced other than look neat. I think the projector housings would.

I have these - https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...563/?year=2008&make=16&model=1619&scc_id=1393

They work...perhaps a little too well even. Even with nothing in front of me but road, I can very clearly see when I turn them on...they do a great job of lighting the fringes in close range (where my projectors don't really cover).

I wanted these - https://www.theretrofitsource.com/chevrolet-square-morimoto-xb-led.html

But damn they're expensive for fog lights. (They have the round ones too - https://www.theretrofitsource.com/chevrolet-round-morimoto-xb-led.html)
