This weekend I went and changed all the interior lights to LED's. What a difference!!! I changed the dome, door, window switches, HVAC and instrument cluster. Everything is red except the warning and indicator lights on the cluster. I made those blue. It looks great. I'll post pictures tonight. I did leave the map lights white just in case I need the light. The only thing I couldn't change was the 4x4 switch because the lights were soldered in. I'll be looking to change those soon.

The biggest piece of advice I can give is to remember LED's are sensitive to polarity. If you put one in and it does not work you will need to rotate it 180 degrees and try it again. This is trial and error process. Unfortunately there is no way to tell polarity.

what size bulbs did you use for everything? I just traded my 98 Mustang v6 for a 99 Tahoe Limited and was wanting to do this to mine.

Yep.. I highly agree with this mod. I did it in mine and I absolutely love it all too. :)

X2, my instruments are blue and all doors, over head white. Major difference. The only down side if the LEDs wont dim and when Im driving dark roads at night it strains my eyes.

Instruments are 194s except for AC/Heat controller they are T1.5's

Doors and kick panels are 194's also.

12-194s counting all four doors and kick panels. The climate control was 3 or 4 of the 1.5's, cant remember.

Exact same setup in mine too.. Except I had two extra blues from my instruments that I put in the front footwells just for the hell of it. Cheesy, but I like it. hah. Then everything else interior wise is bright white for best functionality. :)

Also swapped out the under hood lamp with a bulk white LED too. Makes seeing under the hood at night a bit easier.

Like I said... LED's are the greatest mod. hah. They help SO much. Plus add a nice touch to your vehicle.

I want to do the LED swap for my 02 Tahoe interior, anyone know of a complete list of bulbs needed or a set w/pics of the LED bulbs , just want to be sure I get the right ones, etc. BTW, I like the blue in the front foot wells - sometimes cheesy is good! Thx!

About to do the cluster and HVAC on my 95 in red to match my Sony headunit's only color. Got the 95, hoping no soldering is needed anywhere.
