The chords provided are plenty long enough. I ran the on/off switch trough the fire wall and then zip tied the cable under the hood behind the motor where the other cables are. I then just mounted the relay in to the bolt that fastens the radiator fluid to the engine bay. Pic below. If you have any questions when installing it PM me

Random question = Is your light bar a combo beam spot/flood or is it a single pattern?

My biggest concern is the glare and a spot pattern bar would be more ideal.
Thanks

It is a combo but to be honest I really don't think you can tell the difference between the spot/flood setup. It's so damn bright.

How are you mounting yours?

True.

From your pictures, we have the same set up behind the grill. The only problem I have is I have a trans cooler mounted on that a-frame bracket that you welded your mount to. I also have that center section of the grill with the Chevy emblem in the way.
I'm going to be mounting mine very similar to how you have mounted yours, but mine will be lower.

I took so long to figure out how and where I was going to mount it. Are you trying to determine the size of the bar you want to go with?

I have a 25" led bar mounted to the the bumper support plastic where the bumper foam slides into, I also have a transcooler and the bar is bright up against it. I had to cut the bumper foam to accommodate the LED bar legs but the foam is easy to cut. I use my bar as a work light when I have to work where there isn't light and for added distance lightning when driving by dried river beds so I know which way to go to not get stuck due to my super low clearance for being lowered. Also helps illuminate clays for night ***** shooting. I made my own harness using a semi water resistant relay, tech flex, and 12-14 gauge wire. I have the bar running off my auxiliary XS power battery so I can run it for a supposably 6 hours before the battery needs charging. Thought the bar would be a beneficial add on seeing as though I have a isolated dual alternator setup for future mods other than that. The bar is bright, but in all honestly by quad projector high setup with a FXR and a modded halogen MH1 is brighter than the bar and more reach (being mounted behind the grille affects it), only reason I considered the bar was because of the mobile work light aspect without worrying about draining my main battery.

I am trying to figure out both mounting and what bar. What's holding me back is the aiming capabilities. The distance doesn't concern me as much as how bright the light displays in front of my car. I'd rather have more light concentrated directly in front out to about 50' than a scattered ray of blinding light. From what I have read and seen, they all seem to blind oncoming traffic. I'd really like to see a light bar aimed as low as possible and see the beam pattern. More people are interested in distance. I'm looking at spot pattern driving lights for that.

How secure is it mounted to the foam?
Do you have any pics from behind the grill down on the light bar?
I like that auxiliary light idea. Do you have any pics of your aux set up?
I have no clue what the projector lights are or the FXR and modded MH1 are. I'm familiar with the hi 4 mod, haha.

Thanks

It's not mounted to the foam. It's mounted to the plastic "valley" where the foam on the bumper assembly slips into. It's pretty sturdy in there. Below is a picture of my auxilary battery setup before new alternator and redoing the cables. I do not have pictures of how I mounted it at the moment. Sorry for any spelling errors I'm on my phone
