Many thanks Chauncey.

Chauncey got it, superbrightleds.com

I went with the Cool White with all of my LED's
Map Lights Part #WLED-CWHP15-TAC $6.95
Dome light Part #4410-CW9 $4.74

The Maplights LED is the same one for the floor lights and glove box.
You will need to Order 5 Map lights for the interior, 2 for the floor, 2 map lights, and 1 glove box.
You will need 6 Dome lights, there are 3 in the second row and 3 in the third row/cargo.

Thanks very much Dan.

I already do, I was sitting in the truck yesterday like, wow, this looks nice, and then my girl came out and was like what are you doing? I started explaining and then she was like well, did the lights work before?
LOL
She just doesn't get it, but thats ok. I love her anyways.

Well Dan, I know the feeling. Girls will be girls and we will love them for sure, NO MATTER WHAT.

Next time she get's her nails done, tell her that there were nails there before and no one really notices a difference anyway.

LET US KNOW HOW THAT WILL TURN OUT. :)

One last question: So the three (3) LED's in each Dome Light are identical? All three (3) in each light are part number #4410-CW9?

Is it fairly easy to pull the plastic light covers off in order to get to the bulbs, or does one need to take special care?

THANKS!

yes. The 3 lights in the dome light are identical, there is one in the middle (that is long ways left - right) and 2 on each side (rear passenger courtesy lights that are long ways front -back). I used my little pocket knife to get into the tab and open the light.
The cover comes off only on one side and hangs once it is off. I don't believe it comes all the way off. Same thing for the rear 3rd Row/ Cargo dome light.

I took down the center consol where the Map Lights are at, only one screw in the front and clips in the back. you don't have to take it down to put the Map lights in but I thought it was a little easier. The lens pops out and the reflecter pops out also. Once the OEM bulb is removed, you have to put the reflector back in first before putting in the new LED bulb. The reflector won't fit over the LED.

All of the LED's I put in on the interior were fairly easy to install. The only ones that are a PITA are the Courtesy/Step lights under the side mirrors, which is what I initially posted about and now I know what my problem is, I got the wrong bulb.

Nice!!! Thats something I kind of forgot about, Vanity Lights. I'm going to look into those tonight and see what I can find.

JochenWoern, I saw in your signature you had the Weathertech side window deflectors, how do you like them?? I just ordered a set.

Hello again Dan.

I love my WEATHERTECH side window deflectors.

However, I did not really have a great chance to test them out yet, as it does not appear ever to become winter here in Northern Cali this year. So far, very little to no rain and therefore no snow up in the Sierra's.

Take a look at my albums and you can see some detailed pics of the weathertech's on my truck.

GOOD LUCK and thanks again for all the info in regards to the LED's.

And as per Mr. Chauncey's recommendation, I just ordered @ www.dealextreme.com:

QTY. 4 VANITY LIGHT LED's
- 31mm 1.35W 6-SMD LED 84-Lumen 6500K White Dome Light (DC12V)

It is exactly the same LED as the second one on Chauncey's above pictures with the six yellow LED Dots.
