any tips on the niteshade?
I used it on my DRL's and while it was wet it looked perfect, really glossy and smooth then as it dried it started looking very dull and cracked in a few places

I REALLY need LED tails now after seeing the daytime pictures

my tail lights are horrible in the day time, you can barely see them

pretty much the only way i get whatever im painting glossy, is if i spray them when they are brand new. When i sprayed my stock tails, they turned out a little dull, and not so glossy, but when i painted my brand new tails on my blazer, and the led ones on the hoe, they turned out good. I just do 2 very light coats at a time, let them dry for 10 mins, and repeat till its as dark as i wanted. Im not the best at sanding, but you can get any lights glossy with some wet sanding.

Its not hard at all, just a few tips, keep the can at least a foot away, and do 2 LIGHT coats at a time, get full coverage. You can go lighter than this and be okay, i might get harassed im not sure. You can see the lights just fine through them.

Hey NoPh, the led tails you have, did you have to install a resistor or does the tail lamp come with it? also, does the assembly have a way to change out/replace the leds just in case they get burned out? I know leds are supposed to last long but ive seen some hoes/kons on the street that have some burned out leds in thier taillights. Doesnt look good when the tails are partially burned out. I would like to get some led tails but i want to be sure that the leds can be replaced if necessary. Those led tail lights look good but they can also look s****y when there are burned out and those leds that cannot be replaced. thanks for you info and pics!!
