I asked the same exact thing here awhile ago. Everyone said HID's, haha. LED headlights won't even compare to them!

Nice Z71 by the way!

well hid are more main stram right now. not to much info on led head lights. a few new cars have them. but right now like anything else if u can find some thing the price is going to be high and how long will it last?

so for now i would go with hids. i have them and love them. i wont have a car/truck with out them. or untill leds blow them out of the water.

LEDs don't produce good light, get HIDs in the lowbeams for sure.
Also I have LED fogs and like them alot, they are bright, but the light/beam that is produced goes straight in the air lol, not to the road at all!

That's too many LED's. :confused:

The DRL's on those double as low beams, which is pretty neat. I guess you just gotta find the right kind.

Anyone know if those LED Escalade lights will work on a non-Platinum 07 ESV?

thanks for the replies so far. still researching more info on the LED's... i've seen the kits for tahoes on ebay from under $100 up to around $250 but not real sure on the quality of those kits, or if they produce effective illumination.

Just installed HID on my new 09 Yukon Denali
here's the H13 kit I got for xmas
<http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme_HID_Kits_Digital_HID_Quality_Proven_since_2001_s/21.htm>

Installation was a bit challenging though the kits makes it so easy...
RH: had to remove the air intake box. Easy side
LH: had to remove a few bolts, move the windshield wiper reservoir aside just barely enough to get my fat hands in the well to lock in the harness. Seemed a bit too difficult considering there was must more real estate on the left headlight with room for a second (aux) battery which is currently non-existent

Was able to zip tie all the loose cables and run them along the side of the engine compartments and double taped the ballasts to make it look like a stock install.

About the kit that is mentioned above... is that just low beam HID's, or is that highs and lows?
