Well i have now spent around 300$ on LED bulbs just to find out that no one makes a simple LED flasher for a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. So I tried the method of shaving the inside of the flasher only to make it so my truck only blinks right and its still fast. The left blinker works rarely. Now i need a new flasher and my bulbs still go super fast. I need super help ASAP as I am about to waste all of this money... If i cannot find a solution. Please help me !!!!

led use less power than a normal bulb so the circuit thinks that the Bulb is blown. If you got a number off the relay then look for it here. If not your gonna have to get a load equalizer. Those add resistance across the bulb so it will slow down the flash rate. I used the equalizers in my Hoe to slow the flashing. try here http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm

i used 6ohm. One 6 ohm for one led bulb. As for the switchback, maybe bulb is installed backwards? Try flipping it if its a wedge type.

The bulb is right and the bulb works. But when i turn the headlights and the fog lights on or even with the fog lights off the parking lights dont come on only the small orange ones come on. Then when i turn the blinker on the switchbacks blink but thats it.. I ordered a LED flasher that i found today LM487 should make all the bulbs work, may need like 2 or 4 resistors additional. But i really want the switchbacks to work, and I know people have them in there HOES..

They make an LED compatible flasher for that year Chevy. I know Autozone has them here. You can also take apart the flasher and disconnect the "bulb out indicator" circuit inside.

Take the flasher apart, look for a small black microprocessor & there should be a number on it. Look up the number at this website: www.atmel.com and it'll give you a diagram of which circuit is the bulb out indicator.
