Thanks guys! Its not a T-56 because they don't handle the weight of these trucks well. It's actually a Gm NV4500 5 speed big beefy girl came behind 6.0s in 2500HDs and in Dodge HD trucks behind the legendary Cummins in the 90s. Its not a quick shifting a T56 but it can hold gobbs of power and doesn't mind being bang shifted. Plus the gear ratios are perfect for a DD/Tow rig.

If you get a GM NV4500 it's a direct bolt on swap. Factory crossmember even works.

Yes its dual 3" from the headers back with a small "performance" Catalytic converter on each bank and a giant flopro dual in dual out muffler. It's really quiet for what it is. I need to get some stainless tips put on but this thing gets all the abuse and no love since my other project is still in pieces.

Hell yeah!! Well damn forget building a 4L60E. Now I want a NV4500 swap! [emoji16][emoji106][emoji631] kidding- sorta.. I love a manual transmission. Not sure I wanna get rid of my console etc.. but damn that’s badass!

There was another member on here who cut out a cup holder for his 5 speed conversion. I can't seem to find anything using the search button, but the pics are def posted here.
