Sorry, I'm only a month late. Obviously, I need to check in more frequently. The GM cold air kit was $449.63 Part Number: 84016022. The GM/Borla cat back kit was $1083.13 Part Number: 19329322. The GM tips were $164.81 Part Number: 19303348. All ordered from GM Wholesale Direct. It was premium priced, but outstanding quality and the install was a breeze. You really do get what you pay for in this instance. BUT... Don't buy the GM tips. They're just generic 2.25 inlet 13" long slash cut. There is nothing special about them and they aren't even brand labeled. They could've been outsourced by a dozen different Chinese companies. Get 'em on fleabay for about 25$
BTW- if the price wasn't enough of a deterrent on those exhaust tips, check this out- the rolled edge causes them to get full of sand from the back tire!Sorry, I'm only a month late. Damn, and I thought $1500 for American Racing longtube headers with cats and intermediate pipes was bad.The GM/Borla cat back kit was $1083.13 Part Number: 19329322. I didn't put it on the chassis dyno however the butt dyno says it's improved some. The driving experience is better. It has a nice idle and acceleration but settles down at cruise. Dynomat helps with that too. No drone from the exhaust means none from Mama either. Thanks, for the part#s. I have been wanting to do something to my Tahoe to improve the throttle response and give it a bit of sound.
How is the throttle response now, can you feel it in the seat or feel like it gets out of it's own way a bit better now?
