what are my options for good brakes? i have a hydroboost swap and im getting ready to change pads/rotors/calipers

can i swap in the police package stuff?
if not can i pop in 2500 stuff(im guessing no)

if i cant do either what is my best option for new pads and rotors?

You can swap in the 2500 calipers but with hydroboost your brakes should be much better then stock already ...

there awful the front brakes are a mess and everything needs to be swapped out.....do the 2500 calipers just bolt right in?

if so do i use the stock obs rotors and 2500 pads?

I swapped to NAPA severe duty brake pads and the slotted and cross-drilled rotors, and the difference was night and day. They work awesome! I even had to do a panic stop when a moose ran out in front of me at 50mph with a GCVW of close to 10k. Didn't even break a sweat doing that.

The 2500 calipers bolt right on, but unless you also swap in a 2500 master cylinder, you won't see much benefit from it. The bigger piston in the caliper requires a bigger piston in the mc to get the same effect. The 2500 calipers might not work as well anyway because of that difference.

Get better pads and better rotors and I think you'll be happy. Might even consider a rear disc swap as well for more braking power.

I run wagner thermo-quiet ceramic pads all around. They work pretty good and produce no brake dust

Just got R1 premium rear roters and posi quite pads. Will install them Sunday and let u know the results

ok this is what im pretty sur im going with

2500 calipers (8500gvw)
1500 pads (ebc green stuff)
some sort of slotted rotor

can someone school me on rear disc conversions?

i heard that nbs master cylinders bolt right in and are bigger?

seized front caliper pads worn crazy and both rotors glazed




why would the mods move my obs brake thread to nbs exterior it is a obs gd thread????
