Get one. I love mine.

Just added Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss to my collections of soaps.

Really like it as a soap and as a tough stripper / cleaner.

DuraGloss 902 Meguiars, Hyper Wash, and Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss.

Why are the electric pressure washers more popular than the gas washers?

I have a 3000psi gas washer, I have used it with the General tip (25 degree) to wash or rinse my vehicles. No serious detailing as I'm trying to gather as much info as possible. I never realized how much was involved and the steps that are necessary for a quality job.

I have watched a few of AMMONYC (I think that's his name) on the tube to get some sort of idea of the steps and process. Its crazy what's involved but amazing to see the results

I don't want to start and stop a gas unit..... and I don't want it to run all the darn time.

Electric gives me freedom. I can stop and take a selfie then pick up where I left off and continue pressure washing

Noise level, Zero maintenance and they have just enough PSI to work very well for automotive use as they wont rip your paint off or damage plastics.

Being a noob and not realizing how much time was involved, they are all valid points and good reasoning for an electric washer. I especially like the selfie time, haha.

Where are you located?

I grabbed a foam cannon to use with my 1600psi electric. I have only had the chance to try out some Turtle Wax soap, and very briefly. It didn't foam that well, which didn't surprise me, but so far it's working about the same as the built in foamer on the pressure washer. I'm hoping it was just the soap I'm using. It came with some Pinnacle soap that I'll try out this weekend.
