Black widow isn't chambered. Its shaped as an hourglass internally. That's where it gets the distinct sound from. I'm about to order my black widow exhaust but I'm confused about the fitment. Anyone have any idea what those canisters are on the exhaust right before the muffler? It doesn't have a heat shield on them. I'm about to just cut all that shit out I think.

They don't have a heat shield though.....maybe they are the cats.....weird they aren't contained with a heat shield. Have you done your exhaust yet?

I don't think any of our trucks have shields on the cats. My truck is going for the swap around the 2nd week in January. Hopefully I'll be giving updates on how it's coming along.

I have a 2002 Yukon Denali and I'm wanting a muffler for it I want to keep the stock tailpipe. I see the exhaust is weird on these truck I just don't know if a good way to install a muffler without hacking it up I want it to be clean not rigged up but I don't want to spend the million dollars on a cat back lol

With cats, a dynomax bullet is the way to go. With headers, you better put a little more muffler on it cause it gets too loud.

I feel the exact same way. I also want to keep my stock tailpipe. I just bought an MBRP muffler from a forum member. Gonna go in when my swap gets done. View attachment 70688 View attachment 70689I'm doing long tubes so I'm guessing it's going to be loud!

Coulda saved yourself some money and just bought a Summit branded bullet, basically the same thing.

I guess it is the cats. They look strange on these trucks. I ended up buying the Black Widow Venom 250 muffler and the y pipe they have as well. Hopefully it Isn't too much of a pain for the place to install.

I was thinking about a spintech but so undecided. The dynomax sounds great but then I heard magnaflow then Gibson and lastly corsa that corsa is what I really want but can you say money [emoji383]
