got talked into mud terrains last minute lol and really glad I did.. the last set I had on my 02 Tundra were super rough and loud, I can hear these a tiny bit but its hardly noticeable and the ride is great!


The shop didnt have the pro comp wheels I wanted but they had Ions that looked almost identical in flat black.

no rubbing at all full turn up and down driveway. 33x12.50

Here she is. TPS light was on with warnings for the first 10min or so of driving then went off.

ya I hate the chrome, actually just going to vinyl wrap over them lol. Problem is I only have flat black vinyl right now, it matches the wheels but might look weird against the rest of the truck

I used to like big rims and chrome but these days all I want is big rubber and flat black lol

Looks great. What brand and size level kit? I'm going to level my Tahoe and trying to get ideas on tire size. I want to stay with the 17" tire. I thought 285 or 295 was the biggest I could fit. The wheels I like have a - 12 offset though.

the level kit is just one Les Schwab had in stock. Its listed as a GM part on the receipt for some reason, just 2in in the front.

The tires are thunderer trac grips 33x12.50 , made by BF goodrich I believe but under a sub brand. I was a little skeptical about them but read really good reviews on Amazon and they ride absolutely great. Well see how they wear but so far so good.

idk about -12 offset and what you can fit, you might rub with 295

I think the big sidewall aggressive tire look is going to make a comeback. The crazy deep dish wheels with ridiculous offset was ..... intriguing?... because it was such a different look and made trucks look like RC cars, which was neat, but has definitely lost some of its charisma as of late. Big meaty tires will stand the test of time lol

I thought 295/70's were close in size to a 33/12.50? But I guess with the different offset it might rub. I'd like a little deepness to the wheel. Not huge but more so than stock. I plan on getting the CCM 2.5/1 level kit. I'll talk to a few different tire places to see if I can try a few different sizes on first.

I like the stuffed look myself. More tire than rims. With Jersey potholes and the overall extra protection more sidewall gives I think it looks better. As I posted before I like a little dish or deepness to the wheel but not too much.
