Welcome, I know I'm only a noob on here too but I installed a CCM 2.5" leveling kit for my 07 Tahoe. It was relatively easy to install all by myself in about 2 hours. You'll find alot of information on this topic if you search, which is why I went with the CCM kit.

you cannot turn the torsion bars on the newer tahoes. i have an 07 z71 tahoe an i did a 2.5" ccm leveling kit with 33" nitto trail grappler tires and it looks great.

For a $129 it is hard to beat it. I was looking to lower the rear to the front, my guess is the only way to do that is new rear springs, right?

Ok thank you! Also found 2 inch kit at roughcountry.com less than a $100. Not sure what that extra half inch will do

I am questioning that one too. Really just want to raise up the front and leave the rear alone.
