Leveling kit for 2018 Tahoe w/ Z85 suspension air leveler

I've been looking all over the web for quite some time and can't seem to get any definitive answers.

I have a leveling kit on 14 tahoe now and just want to do the same on the 18 tahoe to squeeze some 33s in there and it won't have the goofy front end tip look.

The 18 tahoe has the max trailer package with in turn added the Z85 Premium Smooth Ride suspension with air leveler.

What kind of level kit will I need?
Will the the level kit raise the front, then the auto air leveler in the rear continue to raise the rear end? If so, then can it be disabled?

I have the max trailering pkg on my '15, and the load leveling on the rear. I don't think I have any smooth ride suspension but I didn't have any issues adding the 1.5" leveling on the front of mine. The rear end did not compensate and raise the rear. You aren't actually dropping the back end so I don't think the system tries to compensate. The smooth ride may add complexity to the setup for you but I wanted to let you know what mine did.

Others who put the leveling kit on the front and had the upgraded suspension (magnetic ride) looked for companies that had either a bracket or an extended "rod" for the air system. Maybe this would apply for the rear of yours. My guess would be you may have the system on the front as well. It looks like Suspension Maxx has those brackets with their kits and I'm sure others do as well. Hopefully that helps some.

Is your the ZW7 or the Z85 suspension package. Guy at dealership stated mine has the Z85 with is the air auto leveling shocks in the back which will cause the issue. Did talk to CCM and they stated their level kit will work due to not altering the A arm any which I didn't understand.

I don't have a build sheet, I got mine used, but I did check the glove box for the codes. I have the Z85 but did not see anything about the ZW7.

There shouldn't to be anything done with the A-arm with only a couple inch leveling kit. Mine is just the blocks that go under the front struts.

Sounds like you have the exact suspension setup as mine where the auto leveling is only on the rear. Thanks for sharing that the front leveling didn't affect the rear auto air leveling height. What kind of leveling kit did you use and do you have any side angle pics?

Thanks for the info. Doesn't sound like I will need specific air/mag ride kit if only doing the front. Please correct me if I am wrong

@blarose777 I'll see if I can find any pics on a level surface from the side. I have the Suspension Maxx 1.5" kit up front. I didnt' want the back to ever be higher than the front, I don't like the look when the front is taller than the back. With the Tahoe empty, most days it looks level some days it still has a very slight rake to it. When I load the kids and the ski gear in the backend it levels right up and sits as level as I can tell. I don't measure it but eyeballing it, it looks good to me.

Maybe I should have reworded the title to this:
Does anyone have a level kit on their tahoe which has the All Season Trailer Package?
I appreciate DW for replying saying he does.

Problem I'm running into, is that Bilstein and the local shops do not know if it will work with rear auto leveling that comes with the All Season Trailer package. Since they don't know, they don't want to touch it. btw, This is not the same as the magneride which is monitoring all 4 wheels.

From what I understand, the rear auto leveling shocks do not monitor the front height at all. They just sense when the rear has settled and then air the shocks up to adjust for it. Leveling the front should have nothing to do with the rear auto shocks.

The kits they sell for the rear shock sensors are for when the rear is lifted or lowered and the sensors need to be adjusted to compensate for the new ride height. You wont be changing that, so all should be good.
