Just letting everyone know that's thinking of going with a Rough Country lift, the shocks ******* SUCK. It's been a month since ive had the lift on and they are as stiff as the day I got them. I feel every bump in the road. I even went with the "upgraded" nitro shocks too, I can't even imagine how ****** the regular hydro shocks are.

Just a little heads up. Probably switching to bilsteins as soon as I can.

Is it because they are off-road shocks? Because that's what my mechanic told me.

I got the 6" lift from them, and I don't have the same complaints about the shocks (but I didn't upgrade them). I figured that if it stuck badly enough, I'd get some good ones later, but they're good enough to get me through until I'm ready to upgrade them, too

Really? Mine are awful. I'm replacing them asap but I don't know which ones to buy.

Its pretty smooth on the highway, and aside from the fact that the roads look like they have been used as targets for bomb exercises, the ride is a little more stiff than before the lift, but its settled in after some driving

with a 2.5" lift, do you need "longer" bilsteins? I have bilsteins on my truck now and I'm wondering if I could use them with this lift kit...
