Looking to setup my truck to look like this Tahoe. Anyone have any suggestions on which lift kit to look into and what offset wheels?

Thanks

YES!!!! another lifted NJ tahoe. Welcome to the club. It looks like a 6" lift. At that point its all down to personal preference. Fabtech and Procomp make good lifts.

i would look at rancho or superlift for the suspension lift kits... heard mixed reviews on fabtech, and don't know about pro-comp. you'll need 5.5 inch backspacing for your rims. keep in mind you will have a change in trackwidth between front and rear after lift kit install unless you get fabtech kit which requires a narrower tire. if the trackwidth difference is an issue, like it was with me, you can buy spacers for the rear, or different backspaced rims for front and rear (but will have rotation issues later). i am completely happy with the superlift l got and i'm sure if gonzo is around he can attest to the rancho. picture.jpg[/IMG]

From what I read 4.5 is the min on backspacing. Depends on kit though and the manufacturers have the specs on their websites

There are two different types of lift systems for these trucks, a knuckle kit or a full control arm drop kit. The knuckle kits (rancho, fabtech, zone, cognito, superlift FIT, RCX) are easier to install but will increase the front track width (distance between the front tires) where the full drop kit (pro comp, superlift bracket, ) will stay at the factory location. I've had really good luck with the 6" pro comp kit if you wanna go a bit higher I'd recommend the cognito kit as they're worth the extra money for a solid system with the pitman/idler reinforcements.
