Lift my Yukon

Sorry guys. I know this has been covered so many times but.... There are so many opinions on what I need to do to lift my ride.

Lets start with the car itself. 2002 Yukon XL SLT autoride.

I just got rims with 305x50x20. There is rubbing on right turns, and I want to eliminate this....

Lets cover what I've read and tell me what I need to do...

I've read that I would have to disable the autoride with a kit leveling kit correct?

The rough country product sucks and should look else where.

What parts are needed to lift?

I don't want a major lift maybe 2" is all that's needed because I want to beagle touring it in my garage to do work on it....

My head is spinning from all I've read and I thought someone with technical experience would be able to guide me to the right direction....

So my signature gives you an idea of how it looks right now. I rub making right turns. I want a moderate lift cause I want to be able to bring the truck in the garage to do work, however I don't like people staring at my car while it makes the loud noise when making right turns in/out the parking area....
Any info would def help! Thanks guys....

Have you checked to see what your rubbing on first? Maybe a little trimming will make it clear? If not then go for some 2" leveling keys in the front. And maybe rear spacers to even it out. From what others have said I believe you do need to disable the autoride. Could be wrong though. My truck sits level already, so I plan on 2" lift keys and 2" rear spacers to lift a little. Gonna wait until I need tires though.

I did a little bit of trimming and it's still a little too wide. The right front wheel gets a good rub when turning right from the edge of the tire. It looks to be the hose line, I believe when I checked last. The driver side has also been trimmed and it still touches a little, I am thinking of using a heat gun and push it forward a bit.

So a the level kit and sensor kit would be needed for the moderate 2"? The shocks I have seen would be the Bilstein 5100 right? Are there any keys/spacers made of billett?

You can get 2" aluminum spacers from ebay and you want steel torsion keys also from ebay. I got all mine from ebay for $85. With auto ride you can keep the rear system with shock extenders or remove the whole kit for 5100s. You should get 5100s for the front though.
