Without seeing or hearing what's happening we can only speculate on if there is a problem and what the cause might be

Which cam did you use? It’s quite common for there to be some lifter noise with a fairly aggressive cam.Ok, I guess I will use for few days and see what happens. Don´t think there will be harm since the oil presure and the oil level is fine. The odd part is that when I turn on the engine in the morning there is no ticking, only after few minutes. I also noted that there is a bolt broken of the exhaust manifold.
Thanks to everyone.
I bought the kit on ebay, not OEM, I guess that was my error, the question is that is there a problem if I leav lik that ? (the sound is alike a mild diesel engine, not to loud) or you recomend to switch to the OEM (opening the engine again), The prssure is ok in all time. Thakhs on advance.Which cam did you use? Not an error at all. I used a Cam Motion cam. My question was more to understand the profile of the cam you chose to determine if a little diesel-like rattle from the valve train could be considered normal.I bought the kit on ebay, not OEM, I guess that was my error, the question is that is there a problem if I leav lik that ? Thanks. I also been told that the oil used has to be (since it has 180K miles) is 15W40 mineral. And I used 20W50 mineral, and the lifters and cam has small lubrication holes and the thiker oil has not the same acces than de thiner. What do you all think? Not an error at all. The main concern I would have with an eBay kit it with the lifter trays. If they’re not OEM, then you may run into trouble like I did with my first two cams.
The mineral oil recommendation dates back to 1958. Not good advice any more. Run only DexOS 5w-30, like the manual says. Break-in oil is no longer recommended in modern engines.Thanks. Thanks for leting me learn from your experience, by the way.
