I think before I went to any of this trouble I would take a look and see how much clearance you have between the CHMSL spoiler and the hinges when the gate is open.

I forgot the NNBS have that. Probably wouldn't work.

I think the first thing to try is to disconnect the arm and see if it goes up higher or not, I thought about doing it yesterday but I'm on vacation being lazy, lol

Interesting points. After hitting my coconut of the corner a few times I’ll find some with the same mounting ends and give it a go.

pretty sure the height is set low so you short people can still reach up and hit the button, too bad it's not adjustable like the new ones
