To have a drive shaft lengthened and balance is about $100 here. I got a new custom CV shaft for mine for $450

I added 6" srpings to the back which put the U joints at a steep angle and I got some nasty vibration and I thought binding a little. I needed the shaft longer and with all those factors I decided on the CV shaft. Common issue on the short wheel base 2 door trucks.

Is this something that we have to worry about with a 6 inch kit on a 4 door?

nope. Most 6" kits are 4 " 5" lift in the rear with a block. The wheel base is longer so as the lift the angles do not increase at the same percentage as the two doors. I explained it to my wife like this"

Pointyour two index fingers at each other (maybe 2" apart , lower one finger 2" inches and imagine the angles of the shaft to conect those two points. Now bring that finger back up to level with the other, now move them apart from each other 4", now lower it 2". See the difference in the angles in that senario?

That is basically a 2 door versus a 4 door in a way.
