Lighting Question?

How do you turn off the lights under the dash?
Is there a light in the glove box?

So is it normal ops for the lights under the dash, both on drivers and passenger side to stay on while driving?

I wouldnt think so, i have never had a vehicle with foot well lighting. I would think they are tied into the overhead lights that you can manually turn on, but not sure. If it is, that switch may be accidentally switched on

My 2022 SLT has led foot lighting under the dash AND under the front seats for the rear seat passengers that come on when any door is opened

I’ll check again tonight. Its 105 degrees out there right now. I did asked the kids last night if the lights were on under the front seats and they said NO. But no telling if they knew what I was talking about Or just giving me an answer.

Dont take the fob out when you first check, and see if they are on. Then go with the fob after and see. It sounds like your vehicle senses the fob, and if its dark, it turns on the lights as you approach it for convince. Just my guess though.

That is how mine work. they go on/off with the interior lights including coming on when i approach with the fob. The are NOT on while driving though.

Not sure if the dome-light switch turns them on and off. I'll play around with it tonight to see.
