Hi - new to the forum, and will hit that thread soon... but I had a question regarding some interior lighting on my 03 Tahoe.

I'm trying to get ideas on stuff to change out in here - exterior, and interior - I want to change the lights on all of the AC controls, as well as pretty much every other stock light. I already have an order in to replace the dome lights, map lights, and door lights.

Problem is, everything looked like it was soldered on, and not easily replaceable. Granted, soldering isn't too hard, but my hand shakes like someone hit me with a cattle prod when I get nervous.

Finally to the question! Is there anyone/any business that will take these parts, change the lights, and send em back? Or is there a better way of going about this?

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate any feedback.

Welcome Chuck! Scottyboy will also take your parts and do the led swap for a very reasonable price. He has done other members lights too and I would highly recommend him. Let me know if you want me to PM him for you.

Yes, please - that'd be awesome. I left a question about it in another thread, but I didn't want to seem too pushy.

Yeah I can do them. You would have to ship them to me, I would have them for a few days then ship them back to you. I only do them in blue, and I do NOT do radios, rear audio controls, or airbag shutoff switches. Here is what I normally charge for a 2003-2006.
Instrument cluster: $50
AC control panel (manual or digital): $50
Overhead/rear AC panels: $40 each
Headlight switch:$30
Rear wiper/foglight switch :$20
4x4 switch :$30
Sunroof switch:$20
Homelink buttons in overhead console: $30
Stability/traction control switch: $20
Heated seat switches: $25 each
Drivers door master window/lock/mirror switch: $40
Front passenger power window/lock switch: $30
Rear door power window switches: $20 each

These prices include all needed parts and labor. I also give a 90 day warranty on all my work. If any LEDs burn out, just ship the part back to me and I will repair it free of charge.

Shipping isn't an issue, and I don't need the radio done for sure... installing a new pioneer unit soon.

As soon as I come up with the $300 I'll box it all up. I'd rather get it all done at once :D

Thanks for getting back to me, Scott!

Would've done it next week, but the wife got in a wreck... now i'm spending money to get replacement parts for her car. =\

Sorry to hear about the wife. :(

If you end up sending all your parts at one time, keep in mind it will take me longer to complete everything. I don't do this for a living, I only do this in my spare time. So I only have a few hours each day after work that I can work on them. And each part takes at least an hour or so to do. A lot of past customers have sent their stuff in two batches.
That resulted in a quicker turn around because it was less parts for me to complete. But that wasn't the only reason for two batches. Another reason is because they didn't want to be without their window switches AND their AC controls at the same time. Sending them separately allowed them to still roll down the windows while I had the AC panel.
And just let me know when you are ready. :Handshake:
