Thanks about wifey... she's having to replace the front fender, bumper, headlight fixture, and her mirror was completely ripped off. Found most of it on ebay for reasonable prices though.

Now that you mention it that would seem smarter. Especially considering we're already in the mid 80s here in SC. I know it doesn't compare to LA - I'm from Houma originally, and I remember the stupid high humid summers down there. =\

I'll scrounge up the moneys, and see where we need to go. I don't drive the truck a whole lot (being disabled, and home kinda helps that) so turnaround is a non-issue. I appreciate you even doing it. Once I popped open the instrument cluster, and saw the board with all the soldered lights - I quickly put it back together, and said f that.

Yes. Besides the cluster, the only difference is the power mirror switch is a completely seperate switch from the power window/lock switch on a 2002. The mirror switch is another $20.
