Lighting upgrades

So I bought our 2005 Yukon XL Denali last week and on the way home the other night from work in the rain i could barely see squat! Ordered some Morimoto Elite 55w HID's in 6k for the low beam, Morimoto 2stroke LED's for the fog lights, and ordered some 3157 LED's for the daytime running lights and reverse lights. I'll be restoring the factory headlights and front parking lights with some sanding and reclearing. I'm going to order some Spyder aftermarket tail lights that I've always loved on the GMT800's.

So now my question. Is there a way to wire up the fog lights to come on automatically? Currently in order for them to be on we have to press the button after we start up. All my other cars I drive around with the fog lights always on (I'm just cool like that).

Also, is it a requirement to run resistors for the LED tail lights to prevent hyperflashing and cruise control disabling? I see some people that throw them on and have issues and others say they don't. I guess I can order them to be safe, but I'd rather not if I don't have to.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here, who freely share their knowledge and experiences.

Regarding keeping the fog lights on, many folks here have made mods to their front lights to get more of the existing lights to come on at the same time, and they will chime in on what they did to achieve that.

Regarding hyperflash and the need to install resistors, I do not believe that you 'have' to install them. I've had my LEDs installed for well over a year without resistors, and hence I have hyperflash. I actually like the hyperflash, as I believe (without proof) that the hyperflash actually gets noticed more by other drivers around you, since it is an unusual flash cadence. I have been told by others (again, without proof) that hyperflash is not legal in some states, so you may want to check that out in your state.

You can use a diode between your low beam relay and fog relay so that the fogs come on with the low beams. I also added a diode between my low beams and high beams. When I turn on my high beam lights, the lows and fogs stay on. You will see others refer to it as the 4hi or 6hi mod.
