Lately, intermittently, when my passenger door and rear hatch open they don't trigger the lights or tell me the door is open. That's the only thing I've noticed so far that they don't trigger. Where can I start with this issue? Thanks for the help.

Here we go again with the mystery vehicle. Why don't you people tell us what you are driving? I have had it.

it's those ****** door latches with the built in sensors. My 06 Yukon is plagued with this. I've had an 04 Sierra, Currently own an 06 Sierra and non but my Yukon have this problem. I fix it by hosing down the latch with WD40 and the red straw. I then blow the shit out of it with my air compressor. that usually sets them straight for a year or so. Note, it will still act a bit flakey until the WD40 evaporates completely.
