I have 2007 Tahoe with 168000 miles or so,recently noticed when get just past 50mph it has little shimmy or shudder then goes away. Any idea's on this?

I have had a similar issue. What kind of front end steering components should we be looking at for wear/replacement?

Well, where do you feel this? In the seat, in the steering wheel?

It's almost always a tire balance issue. As tires wear they need to be re-balanced. Then you have u-joints, yokes and so on.

Steering wheel for me. Ours just hit 200000 and I am trying to keep up with maintenance but its a pain!

Well finally got it in,it was a LF hub bearing. But still has a bit of noise.
