I know..Its "Lizard"...I made it Lizzard though cuz its almost like Blizzard...duh! lol

OK...Heres the Idea....a large removable plate/shield....makes the underside of your truck smooth for better air flow, better MPGs, and to keep everything clean from debris and road grime!!

When I dont have school stuff to do, Im going to tackle this project...I'll let you know how it goes!

yeah my onlt concern is the lack of cooling for your undercarraige and such. maybe you could counter this by putting a ram of sort on the front side to scoop up a bit of the cool air.

Might work in Cali, not to sure about shit weather states with snow, this past year we got over 22" at one time, can you say Big ****** Toboggan. also not sure of the aero dynamics, Im no engineering scientist but a flat bottom would have more area to produce friction, especially lowered, which would also make it warmer, and with the remote possibility of increasing gas milage, I'm sure it wouldn't be that noticable per tank of gas.

The smooth bottom is actually opposite of that YukonJacks...if you look at any of the sportscars...Corvettes and whatnot...and the formula cars, they are all completely smooth on the bottom...but I can see how people would think different...but it allows for better air flow

As for the heat....I dont see that being too much of an issue....however, the way I'd like to design this is to allow water to have free paths to escape...these vents can be used to ram air into the undercarage

those cars are also almost running on the ground and do not have any part under there i think it might cause a handling issue at high speeds especially for those not lowered causing a safety issue, but i am all for experimentationi love anthing that will save me $$$

as for heat i agree it would probably retain it especially with the exhaust in there and the tranny already running warm on these and vent allowing air in would cause a uplift on the vehicle again causing handling and safety issues at high speeds

good luck and hope it works for all of us
