So, I have a 15 Denali XL with Cocoa Dark,..such a special interior, I wanted something a little special for the mats. I love the Husky weather beaters. I got one for the cargo area a must have!! I still love the carpet idea and the factory mats just don't cut it, especially none for the 3rd row in my XL.

So I decided to go with LLoyd Custom Mats. I ordered some brown samples from Autoanything. I picked out a color I thought came the closest in the Veltourex mats. I ordered the 3rd row because it was the cheapest to see how this was going to look.....The coverage goes all the way up to the send row. Not as wide or as much coverage as the Husky's apparently but not bad.

Good, thick, quality mats. The color more matches the cocoa on the dashboard and the tops of the door panels. Its darker than the original mats and the carpet itself. Not so bad since it matches the cocoa.

I have ordered some dark gray samples to see if I can match the carpet and the seats. Once they come in, I will try and match them up.

Auto anything, since I was not 100% satisfied refunded me all of about 5 dollars back on this mat since it was a custom order...NOT BAD at all....
Once I decide if I want to go all the way brown or try and match the grey, I will probably be ordering a full set with custom Denali logos for the front 2 mats.

Attached is the 3rd row on an XL LLoyd mat and an OEM second row mat.
What do you guys think?

More Pics? Info?

What color did you get that matched the cocoa? Dark Brown? I have the factory all weather in dk. brown (dealer threw them in for free) and like the dark mats on the light carpet. Do you have pick's of the these installed in a Denali XL with cocoa/shale interior? Curious to see how they look installed.... Thinking od these for the summer months and the husky's for the wet winter months?

These are the velourtex mats in dark brown #976 This is for the 3rd row in the XL Denali with Cocoa dark atmosphere. They match the cocoa on the dash and trimmings in the car well. Not sure how they will match up with the cocoa shale..

Here are some installed photos...I have my car seats installed so I did not flip the second row for a better angle, sorry...

The cocoa matches great to the dash and trim, but I have ordered some gray samples to see if I can match the carpet before I choose which one I like the most.

For me and my situation I'd rather go with the husky's. With 3 little boys plastic is a lot easier to clean.

Mike did you ever try the black husky's up front? I was just wonder what you thought of the color combo.

I have a dark atmosphere truck on order and have the tan huskys sitting in my garage already; they look like they'll match the dark atmosphere's carpet fine and will go away instead of standing out like black or dark brown would. Just FYI.

Have you see the carpet on the dark interior? Its pretty dark I think the tan might stand out more then the black.

You may be right. It is pretty dark brown. I guess I'll find out in a couple of months. Worst case I can switch them out for black.

I have not tried them up front yet, I just bought the cargo liner in black....Love it though...

I also have 3 kids....they don't go too wild back there, I am constantly on their case about keeping it clean... So I was debating on the husky's or some nice lloyd mats...I love carpet but with the kids, its very very hard to keep clean..

Im trying a few options before I place an order for the whole truck
