I have a 2018 Yukon Denali xl that the button on the handle to lock and unlock only works periodically, I have taken it in to a dealership twice the first time they could not duplicate it and the second time they replaced the battery on the remote which still hasn’t fixed the problem, the strange thing about the problem is I keep my remote in my pocket and then touch any part of the remote (even the plastic portion of the remote) and it will most of the time lock and unlock my vehicle this process works about 90 percent of the time the other 10 percent of the time I have to manually hit the unlock, lock button

Does it work out of your pocket? Mine is picky sometimes depending on what's in my pocket with it.

I have same problem with my 2018 Yukon. The button on the door handle used to work fine, but the last couple months the button is intermittent. I have changed batteries on all the fobs I have. I switched to using one of the other fobs as my daily unit, and it happens the same with either fob. I have had this vehicle since new, and the button always worked before. I did try it in my pocket as usual, and while holding the fob so nothing in my pocket could be interfering, same result. It is more often not working, than working. When it does work, it works just fine, so I don't think it has anything to the mechanics of the door lock. The vehicle knows the remote is close, so it must be something to do with the button, don't you think?

Googling around about this and found someone saying this is the answer. I tried it, and at least for now, it seems to have fixed the issue.
Stand next to the vehicle with your fob. Press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds. The locks will activate twice quickly. Then release the buttons and you should be good to go. If mine begins to fail again I will report back here.

My keyfob doesnt do that when I hold Lock and unlock together for 8-10secs. MY car just unlocks the truck and then rolled down all windows. Tried it a few times.

The situation is strange, yesterday the Pass rear Right door lock worked perfect, no today i cant get it to move at all. I popped the rubber boot on the truck side of where the door harness connects and inspected the connectors and wires on both sides. everything looks ok. With lots of jiggling the harness around the lock still wont move but all the other electronics on the door are fine.

When I bought this truck there was a weird interference digital noise that crept into the audio on that door speaker and replacing that door speaker solved that. Could the who door harness just be bad somehow? Anyone ever heard of that? Is there a ground connection on the door itself? I see one on the pillar near the front seat airbag and seatbelt area and its tight.

I will pull the door panel back off when I can but its about to rain here.

Arrggghhhh. Someone help :)

My 2018, it seemed to work, then after a couple days, the button did not unlock the doors again with fob in my pocket. Pulled fob out of my pocket and held it near the door window, pressed the door handle button again, it worked. Will keep trying to isolate the issue.
