I had this done to my truck two years ago. Did cost me 8000 US $, but well spent cash if you ask me.
They dismount all fenders and other plastic parts before the car is sandblasted, then washed, dried and then sprayed with two sorts of products.
The layer is inspected once a year, but it will keep the truck rustfree for years.
