I've been a member of this forum for several years and have learned a tremendous amount about my favorite "style" of vehicle. I currently own a 00' 1500 Z71(Hunting truck), an 02' Z71 Tahoe (teenage sons first vehicle), an 04' Z71 Tahoe (wife's current vehicle), and an 04' Denali Xl which is all mine. Obviously love the body style, options, ease of maintenance, the bullet proof Vortec engine, and the fact I have zero car payments. :)

I want to thank the members here for ALL the invaluable advice regarding multitudes of different issues regarding my vehicles. This site has proven to be worth its weight in platinum to me!

I was considering buying a newer Tahoe or Suburban to replace my Denali. After driving newer Tahoes and Suburbans I found I preferred my older version better. The seats were more comfortable, same options, better shape IMOP, and it was/is still running perfectly. So, I decided to simply keep my current Denali and "man it up" a bit. I've had it for several years and, since I'm an avid hunter and fishermen, it's original look simply didn't fit my eye. So, I've begun transforming it into something that does fit!

Again, thank you all for so unselfishly sharing your tremendous knowledge!

Damn good looking denali. I'm somewhat of a noobie around here but I've learned a ton. After joining in December, I've already gotten enough info here to re-do my suspension. Incredibly helpful community. I just had work done with parts recommended from the forum members and I couldn't be happier with the result. Lots of good advice to be found here. I took out the dead autoride in my '01 LT and replaced it. Z71 coils and bilsteins and and little lift.

I'm sure your son will love his '02 Z71. My Tahoe is my first car as well and I bought it from my parents who previously towed horses with it. These trucks are bulletproof and handle off roading quite well which is more of my hobby. I plan on keeping it as long as I can.

Congrats on breaking your lurking streak. With all those Tahoe's and your Yukon I'm sure you have a lot of knowledge to share as well.

Cheers

Beautiful Tahoe "Owl"...well done! Yes, he loves his Tahoe and takes great pride in it. It's held up exceptionally well for a 13 year old vehicle.
