Looking at a 98..

Oh snap, I apologize I didn't read correctly thought you were looking at a 4 door and wanted a 2 door ha. Carmine red 2 Door 98? Were gonna be twins! Get it! That's a rare color in the 2 door.

2 doors in general are super rare, I had to drive 2 hours to find this one and if I buy it I'll be all pissed off at myself becuase it'll sit without a windshield or any work done for a while. I need more input..

Try to get some good information about it. Have them show you what's under the hood, give everything a good solid inspection. If you don't care what condition its in, go for it, and make it a project. I think there's a couple people on this forum who got their rigs with jacked up paint or no engine etc. and turned them into something awesome. Projects are always fun. Well, I think so anyways.

Buy it dude. I wish mine was a 2-door. You can wait around for another 2-door to pop up or increase your search radius but if you want a Tahoe now I would buy it unless you can settle for a 4-door.

dude, 3k sounds too high to me. I probably wouldnt get it unless he went down to like 2300. But theyre awesome trucks and two doors (especially in that color) are rare. I'd make sure my ins would go ahead and cover the windshield if you are going to get it. If you do end up getting it, I highly recommend some seafoam action as soon as you get it home

3k out the door is as low as it gets, they've made that clear. Everyone talking about the color makes me feel bad about wanting to paint it. If the test drive goes well I'll buy it.

Seafoam, good call. It's at 200k miles, what else should I do right away?

It's immaculate (I'll post pictures soon) and loaded. I also don't think 2 doors are that hard to come by. My next door neighbor has a GT and a friend of mine has '98 Sport. That's 3 within a 10 mile radius!
