I'm interested in being able to tow a travel trailer. I found some good deals on the Escalade. Do they include a brake controller? What about tow package etc?

For a CPO - can you have these serviced at any GM dealer or service center or does it have to be a Cadillac dealership or shop?

Thanks!

Welcome from Miami Beach!

For the best service I would only take it the Cadillac dealer. You might find a mechanic at the Cadillac dealer who works on Cadillac's at his home. That is how I got my Cadillac's serviced. If the work needed a lift I would have to go the dealer. Cadillac service was better then Chevrolet-GMC on every level.

From my little bit of research when I was looking for one they are not really set up for towing, and i believe that was from one of the forums.

What year are you looking at? I had 12 new ones from 2007 to 2015, these years did not include a brake contoller, I towed with everyone of them, great to tow with, BUT I always added Hotchkis sway bars and big brakes, I was towing in the mountains and wanted to stop

Found a 2017 for a pretty good deal. Comparible to pricing in a Denali so... Why not?

I have a 17, I would at least look at the 18+ as the new 10 speed should of fixed the shuddering issue associated with The 8 speed. The Escalades all come with a tow hitch but they do not have trailer brake controls. You can get that in a Denali if you want a similar car with those features.
