I have an '02 Tahoe that I bought as a work truck and turned out to be a well-equipped tow vehicle by sheer luck. It has around 215,000 miles on it and is sorta nickel and diming me more than I like. I had decided to update to a GMT900 until I learned that its 2nd row will not fold flat like the 800s.

I just came across a 130,000 mile '02 Yukon SLT that looks nice but is kinda odd. It does not have the factory towing package or even the VR4 hitch, but it does have a hitch nevertheless. It also has the 3.73 rear end, G80 LSD, UY7 trailer wiring, KNP transmission cooler, G65 leveling, added brake controller, and a Rough Country torsion bar leveling key kit (which I know nothing about). Should I be concerned about not having the Z82 factory towing package w/ all the other things it does have? I tow a 3000# car on open aluminum trailer.

Now looking (online) at an '03 Denali w/ 103,000 miles and several owners but good Carfax maintenance history. At those miles what should have been replaced already?

Front steering going to be getting worn out. Tie rods, ball joints.

Brakes 50/50. Stock ones are pretty long lived.

Fuel pump should be in your radar, as will be front wheel bearings.

If there are any leaks in the front differential, put it in 4wd auto and drive it around under some moderate throttle. The right output sjafr seal likes to leak around that mileage and unless it was repaired or fluid topped off, it's apt to run dry.

If it had a mechanical fan, water pump will start to go around that mileage. If it's Efan, they last a fair bit longer.

Id plan on doing a coolant change first thing. Dexcool is prone to breaking down and ******** in everything in the cooling system, particularly if it changed on a regular basis.

Transmission filter and tcase fluid will both be due for a change if they've not been done already. 50k interval for both. Though, for that matter, I'd just do all your fluids when you get it anyway. Give yourself a clean slate as far as that goes

I can't comment on any rust issues to look for

Aside from that, just mind the interior. Check things like seat operation, including heating. Check front and rear blend doors work for both temperature and position, pedal adjustment, folding mirrors, auto dimming features, defrost on both side mirrors and rear window, etc etc

01 GMC Yukon Denali (XL?) (not affiliated) $3K obo.

01 Denali black on gray with only 138K miles, just popped up yesterday, 3K OBO. Interior and Paint/body look good from the few pictures I can see. I'm pretty sure that's an XL (looking at the rear door looking like it comes all the way down) which is about the only reason I'm not interested in it. If someone is looking for one of these, I have been searching from Socal to Vegas/Utah out to dallas/san Antonio. BASED OFF THE FEW PICTURES: this is one of the cleanest, lowest price, and lowest mileage ones I have seen.

From what I have seen around the rest of the country, I could probably buy this, drive heading some kind of North with a for sale sign in the window and double my money.
