Here is an update from the past week....

**Front windshield tinted
**Replaced all of the chrome emblems around the Denali with Gloss Black emblems...
**Ordered a 7pc gloss black front end trim package from eBay and took that chrome off the front end..(cuts and scars on my hands were rough - it took me in total about 4 hours to change the front end)...
**Changed the orange side markers to clear...
**Finally added this black/white overlay emblem to make the GMC pop on the black grille...

Next thing I plan to work on is the chrome delete on the side chrome and rear. I am thinking about doing the same overlay emblem on the back once its wrapped gloss black.

What are your thoughts on the overlay? I think it makes it pop pretty well and dont see many of them on the road!
The overlay looks great. Still, I think the absolute coolest option is the lighted GMC emblem.

I think I used the same eBay grille pieces as you. I was surprised how well it fit and the quality of the paint, and it was way cheaper than the other options out there.

I vinyl wrapped the roof rails, window trims, lower door pieces, and the trunk piece with “GMC” on it. Most of it was straight forward but the lower window trim was very difficult and required 3M knife less tape since the rubber seals are glued down to the trim.

I also vinyl wrapped the front and rear GMC logos so that the center of the letters were white. This was also pretty difficult but gives it a unique look that you can’t buy online.

Very nice! My next step will be to get the vinyl wrap done on remaining chrome. I did get feedback from my vinyl place that the roof rack is extremely difficult to wrap and will potentially come off. Anyone else get that feedback?

Yes, that’s why I didn’t glue the roof rack. It is available in black from the factory.
