I am looking for a new car, either a 2007-2012 Escalade, Tahoe LTZ, or Yukon Denali. I am looking for one with under 100,000 miles. While I have been looking I have found it interesting that the Price for the Denali and Escalade are the lowest, and the LTZ is the most expensive. Is there a reason that the LTZ is the most expensive? Is it the demand of the LTZ?

Also I know I have read about this and looked it up, but does the maintenance cost of a escalade cost the same if I go to a non-dealer?

Also is there anything specific to look for when buying a used Escalade/Tahoe/Yukon? Thank you in advance.

Not sure where you are seeing Cadillacs or Denalis cheaper than LTZ Tahoes, that makes absolutely no sense. Unless you arent comparing apples to apples like an 07 Escalade and a 2011 LTZ, mileage etc.

Maintenance is all the same. Pads, Filters, etc. same.

Check and see if it has a cracked dash, as most do. They all have their own bugs just like any other vehicle, but the support group here is excellent so you shouldn't have to worry.

My grandfather has a dealer's license, so I can get on the site (Manheim) where they get them and they are actually cheaper, apples to apples. I am not trying to be like hey I can get on that site by the way. But Yea the escalades are cheaper the the LTZ with same miles and year. Thought it was strange also.

I still don't think that's right after just looking:

If you can get the escalade cheaper and want the 6.2, ETC then go for it. I'd imagine condition wise they are not up to par with a similar LTZ. Just my opinion

I was looking at a base Escalade vs LTZ which I guess isn't apples to apples.
