I really love the look of the HD tow mirrors on the NBS trucks. I just really like the design and the increased visibility. These mirrors here:

Since I have a Summit White Yukon XL I would really like to get them painted white to match my truck. I would most likely get a shop to paint them to make sure they come out there best.

So, the questions I have are:

Would this even look good on my truck?

Would it be too hard to have them painted and stay looking good due to the plastic they are made out of?

Right now I have power mirrors WITHOUT the blinkers AND the ability to fold in. So would the mirrors I have listed above be direct plug and play? I don't want to lose the power movement feature, I can't stand moving the mirrors manually. I don't believe that my stock mirrors are heated either, but thats not a big deal to me.

If I were to get the mirrors that include the turn signal would they still be plug and play due to the fact my stock mirrors do not have the turn signal option? I'm not sure if the option is included where I could just get a mirror with a blinker and it worked. I don't know guys, all input is greatly appreciated!

Here is the mirrors with the blinker:

Personally, I don't think they would look proportionate on a yukon xl. Seems like they would look too tall unless you lifted your rig, imo. If you get the ones with the turns, I don't think it would be plug and play but don't think it would be very difficult to run wires to your blinker relay. And just like any other plastic on your truck, if you paint it correctly, you shouldn't have issues with the paint sticking.

I'm looking to do the same thing to my 06 Denali. I already did a similar upgrade to my 96 Dodge Diesel. I just want the Factory Tow mirrors, I hope that they mount the same.

I think that if you plan to get lots of use out of them they will look better to you.

The more functionality you get from them the more visual appeal you will find.

What are you going to tow?

Also, can you make an album...I want to see bigger pics of your XL :rocking:
