I'm starting to explore purchasing a new Escalade this year. Having owned five Escalades to date, thinking of moving up from my 2013 Escalade to a new '24 model. With the mid generation refresh and release of the new 2025 models, I see a number of new left over '24 units on the web and dealer lots.

Just curious to what you seeing today with respect to any discounts on the new '24 units? Not interested in a 2025 as I've never been crazy about buying the first year of a refreshed model.

It's been 12 years since I last purchased a new Escalade, and I realize it's a different game now with pricing. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated!

I wouldn't jump into anything new with all the issues they have. Add to that a possibility of a major engine failure. Your 2013 is a nice looking truck, and with some affordable maintenance, it'll keep going for many more years. If you live in a salt area like myself, then I do see the desire to upgrade and get away from rust. I just wouldn't waste any money on the new generation IMO. Maybe look for a low mileage 2018 - 2020?

When it comes to discounts on a 24 model. I would look at what the GM employee price is and let that be your starting point for negotiations. Thats anywhere from 9 to 13k off MSRP! Theres room to go lower than that if the dealer is really motivated to get 24s off of the lot.
